By plane: After landing at Malaga’s International Airport, the most simple and economic options to get to La Cala de Mijas are by bus or by a combination of bus and train. The company CTSA-Portillo provides the Number 310 bus that communicates the airport with Marbella. On arriving in Marbella you need to take the Number 220 that will take you to La Cala de Mijas. On the other hand, in the airport building you can take the RENFE cercanía train to Fuengirola. Once there, you can take the Number 220 bus (Fuengirola – Marbella) or the Number 320 (Málaga – Marbella), both through the company CTSA – Portillo.

By train: The visitors who choose to arrive by train have, in Malaga, one of the best connected train stations in the country. From the station it is an easy trip to La Cala de Mijas using the RENFE cercanía service (In direction Fuengirola), or any of the bus lines described previously.

By sea: The Port of Malaga has an open route to Melilla, once in the port; you can make use of any of the previously described bus and train links to finish your journey to La Cala de Mijas. The easiest option is the Number 320 bus that joins Malaga with Marbella and that has a stop in La Cala.
